In 2009, spear fisherman Craig Clasen stabbed a tiger shark after it charged his friend off the coast of Louisiana. The stab aggravated the animal, which then went after Clasen. After a two-hour struggle, Clasen finally killed the shark and took a symbolic bite of his catch, staying true to his promise always to use any animal he killed.
